PokePath TD Infinite Money Guide: How to Farm 16 Million Gold Per Hour
To complete the Pokédex and upgrade every unit to Level 100 in PokePath TD, you need a staggering 273,942,890 Gold.
Farming normal waves will take months. But with the right strategy, you can hit this goal in just a few nights of AFK farming.
In this guide, we will break down the "Infinite Boss Loop" strategy. By farming the Wave 100 Boss (Zapdos) on Route 1-2, you can generate over 16 Million Gold per hour.
⚡ The Math: Why This Strategy is Broken
Normal wave farming is decent, but Boss Farming is on another level. Here is the data from our latest test run:
- Gold Per Run: ~92,832 Gold
- Time Per Run: ~17 Seconds
- Gold Per Minute: ~327,000 Gold
- Gold Per Hour: ~16,300,000+ Gold
At this rate, you can reach the 273 Million Gold cap in less than 20 hours of AFK time.
🛠️ The Setup: Best Team for Money Farming
To pull off this PokePath TD money farm, you need a specific team composition. Do NOT bring high-damage units like Weavile or Charizard. The goal is to hit the boss as many times as possible without killing it.
1. The Gold Generators
- Persian (or Meowth): The core of the strategy. Their ability generates gold every time they hit an enemy.
- Ditto (Level 100): The MVP. When Ditto transforms into Persian, it uses its own level. A Level 100 Ditto becomes a Level 100 Persian, maximizing your attack speed and gold generation.
2. The Stallers (Crowd Control)
You need to keep the boss in range of your Persians for as long as possible.
- Corsola: Provides AOE Slow.
- Tangrowth / Ferrothorn: Excellent for slowing down single targets.
- Ampharos: Essential if farming Articuno (since Articuno is immune to Slow, you need Stun). For Zapdos, Slow works fine.
📍 The Strategy: The "Infinite Loss" Loop
This strategy exploits the "Auto-Retry" mechanic to farm the same wave forever.
Step 1: Reach Wave 100
Go to Route 1-2. Play normally until you reach Wave 100 (Zapdos). Once the boss wave starts, pause the game and set up your formation.
Step 2: The Formation
- Place your Persians and Ditto (transformed as Persian) near the start of the path.
- Surround them with your Slow/Stun units (Corsola, Tangrowth).
- REMOVE all DPS units. If you kill Zapdos, the wave ends, and you cannot farm him anymore.
Step 3: Critical Settings (Don't Skip This!)
This is the most important step for AFK farming.
- Open the Settings Menu.
- Find "AUTO RESET".
- Change it from "Back to Menu" to "RETRY".
Step 4: AFK and Profit
Start the wave. Your Persians will attack Zapdos, generating thousands of gold per second.
- Because you have no DPS, Zapdos will eventually reach the end of the map.
- You will lose the life.
- Because "Auto Retry" is on, the game will restart Wave 100 instantly.
- You keep the gold you earned.
This creates an infinite loop. You can leave your computer on overnight, and the game will keep farming Zapdos thousands of times, making you rich.
❓ FAQ & Troubleshooting
Q: I accidentally killed the boss! What do I do? A: If you kill the boss, the level ends. You will have to restart Route 1-2 and play back up to Wave 100. Always ensure you remove your damage dealers (like Gengar or Machamp) before the loop starts.
Q: Do I need a Level 100 Ditto? A: It is not required, but it is highly recommended. A Level 100 Ditto attacks much faster than a low-level Persian, significantly increasing your gold per hour.
Q: Can I do this on other Bosses? A: Yes!
- Route 1-1 (Articuno): Easiest, but less gold (~200k/min). Requires Stun (Ampharos) as it is immune to Slow.
- Route 2-3 (Suicune): Highest gold (~700k/min), but very hard to tank. Zapdos on Route 1-2 is the best balance of difficulty and reward.
